Rebecca J. Holden is a feminist SF studies scholar and critic.

Description: "Rebecca J. Holden earned an M.A. and Ph.D. in English from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and received a B.S. in Communication Studies from Northwestern University. She has taught numerous courses at the university level in composition, creative writing, literature, and liberal studies. As well as teaching, she works as a literary scholar in the area of feminist science fiction. She has presented papers and published essays on varied science fiction writers including Octavia Butler, Pat Cadigan, Melissa Scott, Marge Piercy, Maureen McHugh, and Joanna Russ. She is currently co-editing a critical anthology on Octavia E. Butler that will be published Wesleyan University Press.
