Description, Notes, Spoilers

Cupid's infant mischievously shoots a variety of odd couples, including a young boy who turns his affections from a girl to another boy; a man who suddenly falls in love with a cow; a woman who falls in love with a neighbor she'd been irritated with. He also shoots Xena — who is suddenly smitten with bad boy Draco, just when she needs to stop him from kidnapping the local Hestian virgins and selling them into slavery. Later the infant strikes Gabrielle with lover for Joxer; then strikes Draco with love for Gabrielle.

Several great scenes with Xena and Draco in a "fighting as foreplay" mode: sparring, then arm-wrestling. Xena's repeated looks of disgust at Gabrielle's infatuation for Joxer are hilarious, revealing some excellent comedic talents.

Representative dialog:

Xena hits Draco to knock him out before he kills Joxer, and then apologizes: I'm sorry, sweetie, that hurt me a lot more than it hurt you! ... Sweetie? Did I say sweetie? I've never used that word in my life before ... oh but he's so cute! Xena claps her hands over her mouth in horror.

Draco attempts to force the issue:

D: Give me the girls and Gabrielle, or I will torch the place and everyone inside it!
X: You would kill the woman you love?
D: The question is: Would you? (Draco laughs, off Xena's expression)
