I don't intend to create pages for all the serials -- for generic information about them, simply refer to Wikipedia's pages or other Dr Who websites. Just those written by women, and a few others of interests. Stories that gave the female companions really interesting things to do, or dealt with gender themes, and so forth. Okay, this might end up being a lot, but I doubt it'll be exhaustive. At least, not as long as I'm doing most of it. :->

The new series might be easier to cover. Fewer episodes, so far, etc.

Also, I'm debating whether to use (Doctor Who serial) or simply (Doctor Who) for disambiguation purposes for these titles. --Ide Cyan 00:19, 26 April 2007 (PDT)

Probably "Doctor Who" is enough; you're just trying to disambiguate it from other titles of the same, and there probably won't be the same titles across the generations? ... for BSG I thought about it and am still not sure, but went with BSG 2004 because they're really not the same continuity even, and there are instances (like "hand of god") in which titles are the same.
I agree that we don't need to be exhaustive with TV series -- i was w/ xena b/c virtually all episodes have subtext or at least a kick-ass female superhero. and i'll probably be exhaustive with buffy. but at least to start with i'll take a much more selective approach with xfiles and angel and firefly when i get back around to doing that show. ... people can fill them in over time i guess if they think there's something to say about the episode. --LQ 05:42, 26 April 2007 (PDT)
