...and now I really have to pitch in avec une pincée de sel québécoise... Ici, "separatist" est un terme fédéraliste, tandis que le mouvement qui vise la création d'une nation québécoise se nomme lui-même indépendantiste. There's a semantic difference between the words that carries political implications. Thought I'd bring that up. Of course, nationalism and gender do not begin from the same premises.
