The Inklings were a literary group out of Oxford University in the mid-20th century including many male fantasists, including most famously J.R.R. Tolkien, C.S. Lewis, and E.R. Eddison. Dorothy L. Sayers, who did not attend the all-male Inklings pub meetings. was a friend and colleague of and influence on several of the Inklings.
