S. T. Joshi
S. T. Joshi (Sunand Tryambak Joshi) is a well-known SF scholar and critic. He has particularly focused on late 19th/early 20th century writers, including writing a definitive biography of H.P. Lovecraft. In addition to his SF and other literary criticism, Joshi has anthologized and written on various political topics, including editing anthologies of atheist writing (Atheism: A Reader (2000)), sexist writing (In Her Place (2006)), and racist writing (Documents of American Prejudice (1999)). He has also published books of his own writing on atheism and politics, including God's Defenders (2003) and The Angry Right (2006).
