Synopsis
Quotes
From the opening scene, wherein Elizabeth, aged 5, has just been read a bedtime story by her mother, Polly:
- Elizabeth: Did they live happily ever after?
- Polly: Of course, Elizabeth.
- Elizabeth: How do you know?
- Polly: Because, she was a good little girl. If she had been naughty the prince would have run away.
- Elizabeth: What a pile of shit.
Notes
Passes the DtWOf test, with several conversations between Elizabeth and her mother and Elizabeth or her best friend, Janie, as well as other minor characters. A lot of these are about Drop Dead Fred, who may or may not count as "something other than a man", and about Elizabeth's no-good husband Charles, but they also cover other subjects.
