Lesbian vampire

The lesbian vampire is a popular fictional trope. Sheridan Le Fanu's Carmilla, one of the first vampire stories, is also one of the first lesbian vampire stories. The Hammer production company made numerous lesbian vampire films in the 1960s and 1970s (see Hammer Horror) and since then there have been numerous sapphic/vampiric sexploitation films and references.
