Lady Callia is a character in Isaac Asimov’s Foundation Series. She appears in Second Foundation, and is the mistress of Lord Stettin, First Citizen of Kalgan. Initially, Lady Callia is present as vapid, almost an embodiment of negative stereotypes of women. However, Lady Callia is ultimately revealed to be an agent of the Second Foundation, thus implying that her persona is complete construct. Lady Callia is a mentalist, capable of both reading and manipulating emotions, and uses her abilities to maneuver Lord Stettin for the benefit of the Second Foundation.
