Bari Wood (born 1936 in Illinois) is an American writer. She has published novels in the horror and supernatural thriller genres. Her novels often feature women with supernatural gifts as their protagonists.

Bari Wood has also been an editor and bibliographer for the American Cancer Society and the editor of Drug Therapy Magazine.

The movie Dead Ringers, written and directed by David Cronenberg, was loosely inspired by the novel Twins, which she co-wrote with Jack Geasland, and by the real-life case that also inspired their novel.

The movie In Dreams was credited as being based on her novel, Doll's Eyes, although the screenwriter of that movie had never read it.
