blocking users - new discovery

hey - embarrassingly late, i discovered something about the blocking users process, or rather, i paid attention to the screen ... i've started blocking spammers just from anonymous edits, and not from account creation. because if they're spoofing an ip address or using one and get booted off it, then the legitimate users could still create accounts and use them. --LQ 11:06, 11 January 2007 (PST)

User:Ide Cyan & defamation

I would appreciate it if you could warn User:Ide Cyan about posting and/or linking to defamatory material about living persons. I am concerned about the post User:Ide Cyan made to Talk:Kathryn Cramer and have responded there. The claims he/she links to are defamatory and I have publicly disputed them and also filed complaints about with writer's ISP.--Pleasantville 16:05, 5 March 2009 (UTC)
