- Dean is sent by Castiel back in time to meet his parents, in Lawrence, Kansas; a la Back to the Future. Dean talks his dad John Winchester into buying the '67 chevy that they both end up driving around, and discovers that his mother (Mary Campbell) was a hunter, and so was his grandfather (Samuel Campbell, played by Mitch Pileggi, of The X-Files fame) & grandmother (Deanna). Dean ends up working a case with his grandfather.
