- Castiel warns Sam & Dean & Bobby to stay out of his way, then over the next few weeks or so goes about smiting various wrong-doers. Sam is awake but hallucinating. Castiel tells Crowley that he gets to be King of Hell again but that Castiel will control the flow of souls into Hell; he needs Hell as a threat over his enemies.
- Sam, Dean, & Bobby summon Crowley to conspire; how can they bind Death, and get Death to kill Castiel/God? In the meantime, Castiel's body is rotting, and his smiting is becoming slaughterous. Death is annoyed at Castiel & gives them a chance to de-God him; Castiel comes to them to ask for help.
