I want to use (vid) for disambiguation because it's shorter, but non-fen might find it confusing... Would (fanvid) be better? Thoughts, anyone? --Ide Cyan 18:28, 16 August 2007 (PDT)

One person's reaction: Fanvid was immediately recognizable to me. "Vid" I would look at and wonder whether people were using it as shorthand for film/video/etc. --LQ 14:03, 17 August 2007 (PDT)
