Leela is a character from Doctor Who, who was played by Louise Jameson. She is a human, who was a member of the Sevateem tribe from a future human colony. She was the companion of the Fourth Doctor from the story "The Face of Evil" to "The Invasion of Time".
Her character is named for Palestinian rights activist Leila Khaled.
