Storm (personal name Ororo Munroe) is a mutant member of The X-Men. Her mutant ability is the power to control the weather, particularly the wind. Incredibly powerful, at some points she runs the team. She was the first African superheroine in mainstream comics.

- First appearance - the major revision of The X-Men, in Giant-Size X-Men #1, May 1975, conceived by writer Len Wein and artist Dave Cockrum.
