Storm (personal name Ororo Munroe) is a mutant member of The X-Men. Her mutant ability is the power to control the weather, particularly the wind. Incredibly powerful, at some points she runs the team. She was the first African superheroine in mainstream comics.

- Retconning to have Storm marry Black Panther. The retcon changed a storyline in which Storm rescued Black Panther when they were both children, to a story in which Black Panther rescued Storm when they were both children.
