I predict huge amounts of overlap between this and Annoying Plot Conventions, Devices, Contrivances. Because, well, for something to be annoying, from a feminist point of view, it'll probably have to do with gendering, won't it? *snrk*

I wonder if there are any non-annoying gendered plot devices. Hm. In slash, maybe.
