- Episode is told in flashbacks as Sam and Dean (who are driving each other nuts) tell the story to Bobby, asking his advice. They came to a town to investigate a possible haunting that led to the death of a local college professor. Then a local jerk frat boy gets abducted by aliens and "probed", and forced to slow dance -- turns out both the victims deserved what happened to them, because they were dicks. Dean: "A philandering professor gets a dead kill. A pledge master gets hazed. ... I mean, these punishments, they're almost poetic." The next victim is a research scientist, animal testing -- Dean: "Yeah, you know, a dick. Which fits the pattern" -- who is the victim of an animal attack, possibly an alligator in the sewer -- a "classic urban legend". Bobby tells them if you had pulled your heads out of your asses it would have been obvious that you are dealing with a trickster.
