Rachel Talalay is a film and television director, producer and sometimes screenwriter.
All of her feature films have been SF works, and her television work covers a wide variety of genres.
She was the first and only woman to direct and co-write a film in the Nightmare on Elm Street series. It was her first feature film, which she directed after working as a production manager, then as a producer, for four of the earlier films in the series.
