Martha Wells (born 1964) in Fort Worth, Texas, is a U.S. fantasy and science fiction author. She has written seven fantasy novels, two Stargate Atlantis tie-in novels, and several short stories.
Her Ile-Rien novels have been called fantasy of manners by some readers.
