Sarah Caudwell is the pen name of Sarah Cockburn (1939-2000), a British barrister and mystery writer.
She is the creator of literary sleuth Professor Hilary Tamar, whose gender was never revealed. Although she writes only non-SFnal works, her works are of interest to SFnal readers.
