Cisgendered people are people whose gender identity or gender expression corresponds to the gender category that their society assigns to people of their biological sex.

As opposed to transgendered people. Although gender in materialist terms is a mechanism for oppression, the sex-class hierarchy facilitates appartenance to clear gender categories and therefore privileges cisgendered people over transgendered people.
