Heroes (TV series)

Heroes (2006-ongoing) is an American television series about ordinary people who discover they have superpowers. It is strongly inspired by the superheroic comic book genre.

It features many characters of colour, and several female characters, although the male characters with superpowers still outnumber the female characters. The series's diversity is one of its great strengths, although it is decidedly US-centric, as Indian and Japanese characters converge towards New York City and most of the action takes place in the United States.
