Episodes in bold were written, co-written, and/or directed by women. Marti Noxon was a co-executive producer of Buffy for part of its run, and therefore would often forego formal credit to scripts. Fran Rubel Kuzui and Kaz Kuzui were credited as executive producers for their contributions to the original Buffy movie but were not involved in running the show.
