Marti Noxon

Marti Noxon (born 1964) is an American writer, television producer and director, and the creator of the TV series Point Pleasant.
She worked extensively on the television series Buffy the Vampire Slayer, starting as a writer during the show's second season. Her work for the show went on to include script editor, co-producer, supervising producer, co-executive producer, director, and executive producer. She took over the job of showrunner from Joss Whedon at the beginning of the show's sixth season, and wrote or co-wrote more episodes for the series than anyone but its creator.
Noxon was one of two crewmembers to have singing cameos (hers as Parking Ticket Woman) in the musical episode "Once More, with Feeling", and contributed uncredited rewrites to the Hugo Award-winning Buffy episode "Conversations with Dead People".
She also worked as a consulting producer on Angel, for which she wrote one episode, and additional, uncredited script revisions, including a key scene in "Dear Boy".
Marti Noxon was the executive producer for Point Pleasant, the series that she created in 2005, which lasted for thirteen episodes, although only eleven aired before its cancellation. Point Pleasant has since been released in its entirety on DVD.
She then worked as an executive producer[1] and writer on the highly popular medical drama Grey's Anatomy, which was created by Shonda Rhimes, then moved on to that show's spin-off series, Private Practice, as a writer and producer during its first season.
