Jeanne Gomoll is the designer of the "SpaceBabe" icon for the James Tiptree, Jr. Award.

Author of An Open Letter to Joanna Russ, an influential essay, available at http://www.geocities.com/athens/8720/letter.htm and in Fanthology '87.

Influential in beginning the mailing list FEM-SF and WisCon. Member of the Secret Feminist Cabal.
