Claudia De Bella
Claudia De Bella (Argentina) is an Argentine SF writer & translator (English/Spanish, Portuguese/Spanish).
She has published stories and short novels in Axxon, Cuasar, Potencial, Vortice, Sinergia and Neuromante (Argentina), Somnium (Brazil), TDS and Nuovo Mondo (Italy), and Alfa Eridiani and Sable (Spain), as well as countless translations of novels, stories and articles. She took part in two anthologies of Argentinian SF, Visiones and Fase Dos.
In the '90s, she got the Mas Allá Award (Argentina) for Best Story ("Amoité") and Best Translator, and the Best Theatre Play Award for "La puerta abierta" (a horror play), granted by the Province of Misiones. Besides her work as an English and Portuguese translator for Axxon Online, she has lately worked for Ediciones Cuasar (Argentina) and Grupo AJEC (Spain) publishers, translating the work of Greg Egan, Algis Budrys, Vernor Vinge and Bruce McAllister, among others.
