Crane-Iron series

The Crane-Iron series is a series of five wuxia novels by Wang Dulu, one of the foundational authors in the genre. The series charts several generations of wuxia heroes over five novels:

• Crane Frightens Kunlun (aka Dancing Crane, Crying Phoenix)
• Treasured Sword, Golden Hairpin
• Sword Spirit, Pearl Light
• Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon'
• Iron Knight, Silver Vase

The fourth novel was adapted for the screen by Ang Lee, although it includes elements of the other novels. The novels have yet to be translated into English as texts, although they have been translated as graphic novels.
