Dark Angel is an SF-action TV series that originally aired from 2000-2002. It featured a kick-ass woman as its protagonist (the eponymous "Dark Angel", Max Guevara), a notably diverse cast (in its first season), and an interesting near-future dystopic setting.

The first season was straight-forwardly science fiction. The second season delved into some secret society mysticism.

Starring Jessica Alba as Max Guevara (X5-452); created by James Cameron.
