Emma Bull is a fantasy writer and musician. Married to fantasy writer Will Shetterly, she got her writing start in Minnesota, where she was part of The Scribblies writing group. She and Will now live in Tucson, Arizona.

Online Fiction
Bull is the originator of Shadow Unit, an online fiction site which is designed as the fan site for a fictional television show. Her collaborators in the project are Will Shetterly, Elizabeth Bear, and Sarah Monette. While not expressly feminist, the "show" features a wide variety of strong women, including one Asian and one mixed-race woman with African-American ancestry.
