Proud Man is a 1933 novel by Katharine Burdekin. The novel inverts the common strategy of utopian novels, in which a visitor from today's world happens upon a utopian society. In Proud Man, a member of a future utopian society visits our world, and is routinely shocked and appalled by the sexism and other besetting sins of contemporary society.
