Robinson Crusoe is a 1719 novel by Daniel Defoe. It has been revisioned by feminists on several occasions. See:
- Joanna Russ, We Who Are About To...
- Marlen Haushofer, The Wall (transl. from German 1990)
The novel gave its name to a subgenre following the same basic plot: a single person, stranded on a deserted island (or similarly isolated environment), fighting for survival.
