Singing My Sister Down is a short story by Margo Lanagan, first published in her 2004 collection Black Juice. It is told from the perspective of a boy whose family has gathered for the execution of his sister. Whilst not overtly SF, the story is set in no Earthly society. It won the World Fantasy Award, and was shortlisted for the Hugos and Nebulas.
