The Swordsmen and Sorcerers Guild of America (SAGA) was a literary group of heroic fantasy (sword-and-sorcery) writers based primarily in New York City, and organized largely by Lin Carter. Members included:

Members' works were published in the Flashing Swords! series edited by Lin Carter; five volumes from 1973 to 1981. The group also sponsored the Gandalf Award from 1974 to 1981: a Gandalf Grand Master Award (presented 1974-1981) and a Gandalf Book Length Fantasy Award (presented in 1978-1979).
