The Bones of Time

The Bones of Time is a 1996 novel by Kathleen Ann Goonan. The novel tells the story of a woman who becomes embroiled in a plot to clone King Kamehameha. As such, the novel has an emphasis on nationalist politics that is relatively rare in SF.

The novel was an Arthur C. Clarke Award finalist.
