The Girl from Tomorrow
The Girl from Tomorrow (1991) is an Australian science-fiction television series about a girl from the year 3000 who, after being kidnapped by a criminal from the year 2500, ends up stranded in 1990, where she turns to another teenaged girl for help.
The series ran for 12 half-hour episodes, which were written by Mark Shirrefs and John J. Thomson and directed by Kathy Mueller.
It was followed by a sequel series, The Girl from Tomorrow Part II: Tomorrow's End, in 1993.

The French title of this series was Alana ou le futur imparfait.
The series featured technology-assisted telekinesis (via "transducers" headbands), and computers with artificial intelligence. (The sequel later revealed the "transducer" technology to be the invention of a woman.)
