The Second Virago Book of Fairy Tales (also published as Strange Things Sometimes Still Happen: Fairy Tales from Around the World) is a collection of fairy tales collected, written, and edited by Angela Carter. Carter's collection and versions of fairy tales from around the world. It was preceded by The Virago Book of Fairy Tales. Both volumes were republished as Angela Carter's Book of Fairy Tales (2005).
