The Virago Book of Fairy Tales (also published as The Old Wives' Book of Fairy Tales) is a 1990 anthology edited by Angela Carter. It is in the Virago Book series, and was followed by The Second Virago Book of Fairy Tales (1992). Both volumes were republished as Angela Carter's Book of Fairy Tales (2005).
